Kugel Aerospace & Defence is pleased to announce that the external thread grinding equipment, formerly used at Meggitt, Barnstaple / Thomson Aerospace & Defence have been fully commissioned and laser pitch checked. Both Reishauer external thread grinding machines, Reishauer UL900 and Reishauer UL1800 were in production at the Thomson Aerospace & Defence site up until May 2014.
Successful commissioning of these external thread grinding machines enables Kugel Aerospace & Defence to be the only UK manufacturer of precision ground ball screws for the Aerospace, Defence and Automotice industries.
